Dino has been sneezing through the night - I could hear him in my sleep - you know how tuned in we are to our cats

Now I have kept my eye on this morning, he's eaten & pooped, so all ok there
His eyes are ok, his nose is its normal colour and no dribbles, it feels cool to the touch.

He does about 2-3 sneezes every 45 mins

I rung the vet to get an appointment and Maria is out for the day doing operations and another clinic
I can take him tomorrow, but just wonder if you guys had any clues - ta very

Fluffy has been sneezing off and on for about 10 days or so. Like Dino, no discharge form nose or eyes, appetite good, activity normal, using the litter box normally. I spoke to the vet first rather than make an appointment. The vet said he could be fighting off a minor infection but as long as he wasn't lethargic and his appetite remained good it was probably nothing to worry about.

Do you think he could be allergic to something? Is there anything new in the house or flowers blooming in the garden?

I hope Dino is OK, no illness to worry about. Hugs and positive thoughts to both of you.

If he's eating, drinking, using the litterbox, isn't lethargic, and when he sneezes any discharge is clear and watery, then don't panic, he doesn't need to see a vet today unless his situation changes drastically. I would keep a close eye on him and if he's still doing it tomorrow phone again when she is there to ask if she wants you to bring him in for a checkup.

I hope he feels better soon.

Teddy could have brought a cold back from the cattery.

Tonka our new addition is sneezing also. I called the vet last night (They're 24 hours). We have alot of smoke that came down from Georgia and was told to watch him the next 24 hours. It could be the smoke in the air.
I've actually been sneezing myself

Sebastian just went through this. Started with lots of sneezing, then coughing but seemed perfectly healthy otherwise. The vet gave us antibiotics just in case but said it was probably allergies due to the season changing. Seb is much better now but still sneezes/coughs a few times a day. The vet said Daphne's sneezing was nothing to worry about. She has stopped for the most part.

Must be our environment. I have had people doctors tell me that more people have allergies than ever before so perhaps cats are feeling the same?

Hugs and vibes for Dino

Yeah Poe has been sneezing once in a while too. Not often. I figure it's just all the smoke. It's definitely given me sneezing fits when I go outside.

Same here. I'm sneezing, my husband is sneezing, both cats sneeze whenever the door opens. Definitely the smoke. Isn't it wild that it's getting blown so far from it's origination without dispersing?

It's good to hear that Dino is OK. It's always a relief to know these "little something" events are not a worry. Hugs to all.
