There is a website www.balanceit.com which provides the resources to create easy homemade cooked diets for your pet using 2 main ingredients, a protein and a carb of your pet's choice plus the balance it supplements. I thought a homemade raw is superior to a homemade cooked diet as I have been preparing a homemade raw using feline instincts supplements from www.felineinstincts.com. Rosie has been doing just fine on this raw food but according to the balance it people feeding raw is dangerous.

So is raw superior or can we feed our cats either way and the diet is equal in nutritional quality? What do you think?

I say it is =
I have done 2 kids all raw but now I am flexible

I feed Kandie half raw and half canned ... it works for her since I cant hide starches in homemade as well as canned does///

Gigi do to health issues is now 60 raw 40 homemade/cooked... she is doing very well and only one supplement was added ....

a very basic raw complete for a cat is simple... meat , organs, bones and some veggie matter...rough percents 70 meat 15 organ 10 bone and 5 veggie

a homemade diet is likely more varied and diverse yet requires heavier supplementation... due to vitamins and minerals being cooked out
