Colin caught her eating baking soda!!!!!!

As if my chips weren't enough yesterday- Colin cought Jasmine stealing yet again today...this time...it was weird!!!! Colin keeps a little baking soda in his closet to absorb odors ....well he said when he walked into his closet earlier....the little dish he keeps it in was spilled everywhere....he thought it was weird but didn't know what happened so he just cleaned it up and left. Later on when we were getting ready to go to my sister Kimmy's for dinner....he cought her....the darn cat was eating baking soda!!!!! I immedately called the vet to make sure she'd be ok (she is!). Man....i swear!!!!! That cat will literally eat ANYTHING Baking Soda??? What's next!!!!! I told Colin he's going to make sure the door to the closet stays shut so she can't get back in there Seriously now Jasmine...i PROMISE you are not starving!!!!!

colin said- seeing her eat it made him wonder what it tasted like, so he tried a little and it tasted kinda like toothpaste and nothing. duh!!! that's when i reminded him baking soda was one of the "origional" toothpastes gotta love my genuis him and jasmine apparently both eat baking soda now

hmm toothpaste, guess its better then tasting like chicken.

Some people use it for indigestion to, maybe she has gas or needed to burp

maybe the chips she stole last night gave her indigestion- so she ate the baking soda to feel better. Awwww- what a smart girl!!! (hehe i wish that were the case )

born and raised a southern belle my mom makes AWESOME cornbread!! buttermilk in a cast iron skillet

Baking soda tastes salty and cats adore salt. That's why she was eating your chips and the baking soda too, and also why they tend to like to lick our skin because our sweat contains salt.
