if you remember before I was working on a trance composition.....I've tried to take everyone's advice into consideration and have uploaded a new version....

TRANCE

1. let me know if the link works
2. if you can bear it - listen to the whole thing
3. comment on what you like/dislike or thought was interesting or what worked well....high points/low points...

i like the intro a lot better, i wrote a melody to meld with all the parts in the piece and i think it fits well for an amateur.... i've changed the settings so it really shouldn't sound soft - if it does it isn't the recording because I've checked on my sound system. the song is a little over 6 minutes long and I'm trying to get to about 8 minutes....more if required.

i'd really like to hear what you have to say.....

My speakers aren't working at the moment... I think I can blame Ziggy.
As soon as I get it figured out and a new cord, I'll be sure to listen!

Wow! I am quite impressed. It sounded pretty good on my new puter sound system, too (I got a Bose). Rock on girlie!

Great job

What I didn't like was the middle
I was super
at the begining and then it slowed down
but thats just my opinion
But it does all sound great
but u could have a point slowing it down its been a while since my techno days so what do I know
but it does really sound great

I can see why you thought the middle slowed down because I augmented the macro beat but the actual tempo stayed the same. Thanks for the info - perhaps I need something in the background in the middle to keep the overall beat going so the listener doesn't feel like the dance beat left.
