Challenge: The Orton Effect

OOOPS it has been a long week and I didn't post the challenges (despite saving them ready to post, next time, remind me sooner
)

This is a favourite of mine and comes up with some fantastic results. So the images are not all identical, please feel free to use whichever cat you please.

The Orton Effect

Looks good and definitely Ortonized!

On mine (because cat's eyes are special) I cut the eyes out of a regular layer and put them in a layer by themselves on screen to make them stand out more too

Is this using photoshop? I have gimp and haven't been able to figure out how to use it.

yeaaa i did a challenge and it was sort of easy
ok it took me about 1/2 to figure out how to change the blending lol

I forgot to make the original picture smaller so I could put it up here. I'll have to do that tomorrow. It's bedtime for me now. This was kind of a rush job, because I wanted to do it, but I had very little time to do it.

Sorry I am sort of bumping this thread, but since I got my laptop and photoshop back on track I had to give it a try, I have been waiting so patiently to do this one
