Pray that she may die quickly

A friend of mine called me in town. There is a deformed or injured cat by the feed mill he owns. I got a carrier & Meow Mix cups. After 2 hours, I finally caught her. Broken jaw, bloodied nose. She still managed to scratch & bite me. I lost her. She crawled into a corner & stopped moving. I could take no more. I just left here there to die in peace. Before I lost her I told her I loved her. She deserved to hear someone say that.

Pray that she may die quickly. I will check back before bed, but I think she's gone as I write this. I had to come home & cry. How can people not care?

Awww.... such sad news again. Poor kitties.

I hope she passed quickly. I'm so glad you were able to tell her you love her.

Some one did care, seems like 2 people did. Your friend that reached out to someone that thought could help, and then there was you,Who spent 2 hours trying to catch her.

Then what? you came here and wrote about it? why, cause you know that there will be alot of people here that care. No matter how hard we try we cant save every kitty or person.

It's true - we try to save them all, but we can't. But sometimes you don't think about them all - you just want to save the one.

Honey, you went, you tried, you gave this cat more love and attention it's probably ever had in its short life and believe me, it knows. It does. Animals go off to die on their own, and I hope along with you that this baby knows peace before the end. By this time, its pain receptors have probably shut down, and I hope it is comfortably numb.

This is terrible. But at least that poor kitty had someone to take care of her even for a little while. She will remember you, IÂ´m sure. I wish she crosses the Bridge soon. RIP little one.

She was still alive last night at 10PM. I still just left here there. I feel awful, I was so sure she was gone or almost gone when I left earlier. But, at 10PM her breathing was shallow. She had managed to eat the Meow Mix cup I left. Drank some water I left too. She looked so peaceful. This morning, she was not where I left her. Hopefully, she went to a safe place & died.

I got to thinking, though. She likely has babies somewhere that are starving to death. Her nipples looked full of milk.

Not only did one cat suffer, but her babes did as well.
