And oh, your babies... we haven't fostered since St. John came in as a foster and decided to stay. We just don't know how we could handle any more, y'know? But oh... oh, how I love the babies...especially feeding them.

How'bout F names? Freckles for the freckled one... Funnyface for the one with the great expressions... Fancy for the pretty girl... and Flash for the would-be runaway?

Aww thankyou!!! Fosters is just the sweetest thing ever around the kitties- he gets soooo excited and wants to kiss them all to death Whiskey does it too -it's really adorable! Oh i love Freckles and Fancy- those are cute!!!!

Silly question, Nikki, but do the shelter staff/volunteers avoid certain names? We no longer use Daphne as we had 3 kittens named Daphne last summer & all of them died.

It's sort of an unspoken thing...but sometimes we all have animals that we REALLY love that for whatever reason we've had to pts. So we do not use those names for a while- it's not a spoken rule or everything- it's just too painfull for us to name another animal after one we all were soo close to that we've lost you know. We all get sooo attached. That and if i've had a foster kitten die - i usually will not use their name again for a VERY long time if not ever. Little Lex...my sweet little ragdoll kitten that passed away a few months ago- i'm still not over him.
