My little boy is growing up

He does look like he is posing! He looks like he is a Maine Coon, with those lovely tufts and ruff! Poor, tuckered out Stanley!

I have to brag, not only is he pretty, he is one of the sweetest creatures I have ever encountered. I am completely in love He never bites or scratches, even when we do really mean things to him (like forcing a pill down his throat). He loves belly scratches & chin scritches. He goes into ecstacy when you brush him.

He is very dog-like in some ways. He follows you around and he has to sit down wherever we are. The trade off for this is some pretty grody litterbox habits, but hey, at least it's in the box (or next to it). Sometimes he does torment poor Bella, but she gives him a good whack and all is right in the universe again.

Just yesterday DH said "l love this guy, he's such a good cat".

The rescue listed him as a "Maine Coon Mix" and I suspect that's probably true as he does have the furry paws and ear tufts (small ones), that big ruff...his paws are huge. I think he's going to be a big boy!

Awww what a gorgeous boy Stanley is. And he sounds like a total love bug. How old is he?

What a funny cat!!!! I do notice that some animals like their pictures taken and love it! I knew I wasn't crazy! What a silly cat!

The first picture is absolutely gorgeous. His eyes look almost aqua!
