Im really sorry I havent a clue what you should do in this situation.

Try to stay calm and not panic. There are lots of very experienced posters here at TCS and I'm sure one of them will be along with some advice really soon.

So sorry to hear that. You must be going out of your mind.No idea either just the obvious of loking everywhere, outside too and the last places you think she may have had them.Maybe you could follow her when she goes out

Hi Fay, welcome to TCS.

Chromodactyl has given you some good advice. It may be the case that there was only one kitten who died or the rest of the litter has died. The maternal instinct in cats is usually pretty strong, so if she did have babies out there waiting for her to come back, she should go to them at some stage.

Give it two days. If you're sure she hasn't attended to the kittens (wherever they are), take her off to the vet. She may have kitens that have died in-utero or perhaps pyometria (a uterine infection). The vet can check her over and if she is well, spay her as well. I know it's sad that there may be kittens somewhere out there but if she hasn't tended to them in 2 days, they have most likely died anyway.

Hi and welcome to TCS, I am sorry you join us with such a thing to deal with
but theres lots of experienced members and you have already had some great advise

A vets checkup would be the best course of action for moma cat at this stage - have you seen where she might be going to attend to the kitten ?

Hopefully you are feeling a bit better about things
