Today is the day....

I put Jade up for adoption! She's listed on petfinder right now.

No kids under 8 years old & must be part of a multi-cat household.

It only took me all day to weed through my pics of her & pick 3.

Aww. It must be rough having to put a kitty up for adoption. I know I always have a hard time finding homes for babies when it comes time to. But sometimes we just dont have room for them all!

i tihnk you should demand that anyone that takes her must be a member of TCS and has a digital camera to post pics.

hm, are you sure your other kitties wont get used to her?

Ahh... I can only imagine what it would be like to have let your babies go, even if they are only stop-over babies.

I was thinking the same thing

But if someone does adopt her tell them they better become members of this community and post lots and lots of pics! She is a DIVA on this forum

But many many to u, this is why I don't think I could ever foster

aww heck, I agree, new owners have to be a member of TCS, we so need to see photos of that little treasure growing up

On the other hand, I am sure she'll find a great home and have a wonderful kitty-cute life

Be strong honey!!! Now is the time Jade needs you the most. You are going to be fundamental in finding the perfect new home for her!!! I know how hard it is to let them go. I took my last batch of three kittens into the shelter yesterday...and now i have 4 more at my house. It is sad- but it is also wonderful knowing that you have saved one and will go on to help even more!!! If you keep them all you will not have the money,time,energy,attention to devote to more foster kittens that need your help too!!!! You did an AWESOME job with her gorgeous and i have a feeling you will be helping many more kittens down the road Little Jade is going to be just fine! If i kept every single cat/kitten i have fostered through the years- i would now have several hundred It is just not possible to keep them all- but it is possible to give them a wonderful start at life and make sure they end up in good responsible homes that are ready for that life-long committment What you've done for Jade is wonderful!!!!!

If my life was a touch more stable I would take her in a heart beat ..

I just cannot keep her. My life isn't all that stable. Damita's got ringworm again & I can't afford to have yet another cat to treat for ringworm next time Damita gets it. Ophelia hates her, with a passion. I can't make Ophelia more miserable by keeping Jade. I took Ophelia unknowingly, but made a committment to her I have to keep....& that means no more girl kitties!

What stinks is most people around here are stupid. They feed Purina, etc. I'm sending some high quality food with Jade(wet food). I'm also sending a baggie of her Cat Attract Litter & a few of her favorite toys that once belonged to my kits.

OMG I WANT HER SOOO BAD!! Even David wants her but unfortunatly we are in Pa...Id take her in a heartbeat. But also Ive got a 4 and 3 yr old. Even tho they are very responsible and help take care of the babies I would want to jeopardize her being a good baby girl.

The link worked for me! I just love her and I want her!!! Hubby says no more cats!

She is such a little sweetheart, and that's a great ad - I imagine she'll find a home VERY fast! We'll just keep our fingers crossed that she finds the RIGHT home!
