or is it something they cant control like us humans?
the reason i ask is , fluffy hates being kept in one room. shes looking very mopy, i just wondered if she wasnt happy in the bedroom could this hold of labour? i have several nesting boxs made up , an open top one , a cubaurd and a cave like one.
even if i did let her out the bedroom she can just about walk , she waddles slowly , the only time i see her move fast is when i come into the bedroom and she trys darting for it.
, but if i let her have run of the house , shes an exscape artist, when i relised she wasnt spayed and pregnat i started keeping her inside , she would get out everytime the door was open . so now she is kept in the bedroom for the best part of the day ( when my children are awake) and also at nights so i know she wont have her kittens anywhere dangrous. i just feel so bad for her, she really dosnt look comfy, she also seems to jamed packed in there , god i worry to much.

Tasha, you are doing everything right for Fluffy. Don't let her guilt you into letting her out for a little walk around the house, as she will probably escape and have her kittens outside. Cats can and do delay their labour for a short while, especially if they feel unsafe. I don't think Fluffy would be doing this though as, although she's not really where she'd prefer to be (outside), she is safe.

I suspect it can be controlled to some extent. My first rex queen was so attached to me that she would NOT have kittens, until I was there to help her out. She never cut the cords - would do everything else but that. I had to cut and tie the cords on every kitten she had
