There are no scores for her age. It's all just for fun and to learn the game.

Awwwwwwwww what an adorable pic. How is that going for her? I know you said before that she was so incredibly shy on her first day of practice. Has it helped her come out of her shell a bit?

YES it has. Ok well not so much in other areas. But she will run and play. She will talk to the other kids and one coach. She is participating which is all I wanted out of her. She doesn't run as fast as the other kids and she hesitates to get into the group and get the ball. I think she's afraid of getting knocked down or something. But anyway as long as she is having fun that's all that matters.
It's all just one step at a time for her. Every experience is a fight with her. Ex: if you were to walk up to her and start talking to her she would hide and give you the meanest look possible. But after a few visits she'd likely lighten up and "might" talk to you. It's just a slow process of getting her to feel comfortable around other people.

She is cute...
I hope so Cats. It's more than just shy actually. The school calls it selective mutism. I just think she has a phobia of strangers. Whatever it is one thing is evident. Her social skills never did develop correctly. I don't know if that's because I sheltered her when she was younger, or if it was scarry stories my mother put in her head. All I know is that I have to encourage her to do different things and when she starts doing it she hates me, but after awhile she's glad I made her.

That is far from adult/porn!

I am glad your daughter is starting to come out of her shell. Hopefully, soccer is what she needs!

How cute (but she does look like she wants to throw the ball at the photographer's head)
