Not for the animals... they are well protected against ticks. But does anyone know of a way to prevent ticks on us humans? Yesterday my boyfriend was told about a free school bus down the road so we went to check it out. It was behind a garage and there were a lot of weeds and tall grass. I honestly haven't thought anything about ticks because my animals are on preventative and I haven't actually seen a tick in a few years! Anyway, I was wearing long jeans and felt like something was crawling on my leg while we were walking around. I scratched at it, and the feeling went away... and I thought nothing more of it. Then last night, about 6 hours after the fact, I got into the shower and looked down... there was a tick attached to my leg! At least it wasn't a spider
. But anyway, I'd like to not repeat that experience and we have to go back down and drag this bus out one night this week... anything I can do to keep the ticks off of me while I'm there?
