On or about May 8, 1999...

On or about May 8, 1999 a feral cat being fed in one local neighborhood gave birth to four kittens. Sadly, only one of them survived - a fiesty, little tuxedo girl. When the kitten was old enough Big Mama and her baby were trapped by a friend of mine who was feeding them. Big Mama was fixed and returned to the site and the kitten came home to live with me and her big sister, Katie, who was six at the time and not thrilled.

Fast forward eight years and today is my little tuxedo kitty's 8th birthday!
So Happy Birthday to my weird, demanding, lettuce loving, too cute for words, little girl, Gracie.

Thanks for sharing in Gracie's special day, everybody! She sure is a sweet, funny little thing who's trained meowmy to be her humble servant. In honor of birthday she, of course, got her favorite treat - yummy lettuce! That's my girl!
