My neighbor across the street does that with his huge truck! First of all he took the normal tires off and added those monster tires. Then he is in the army so of course he gets that damn thing started at 5 in the morning and it wakes me up each time and he leaves it on for half an hour! I think he has been deployed for the last half a year and it's been much nicer without that truck! What can I say? People are just stupid sometimes.

Our neighbors are the same.. they have a bunch of four wheelers and they're so noisy! And when it starts to get nice like it has been.. they're out all the time..

You know...a skid? A skid is like a skank...a dirty nasty person? You get it?

So the biggest skid would be the skidliest

There is your lesson for the day.

I'm Canadian and I've never heard the term either.

I gave my answer based on the content of the post about the reving enging. LOL

I never actually heard the term until I moved to a one horse town...the skanks are skids there

When I moved back into an actual city, it went away..I think its a small town thing

Oh you must live 2 houses down from me! My house is the one with the 'dirt road' next to it where they, after reving the bike for about 30 minutes, spend the next 2 hours going up and down the little dirt road! Which just happens to run the entire length of my house!

Skids??
I have never heard that term!!
I am so glad we live out and most the neighbors are older or elderly.....

Buuuut a few summers ago one of the couples that live down the road had their grandson staying there and he would go up our road on his 3 wheeler SUPER fast and it annoyed the crap outta me!!

I do that with dad's trucks(well, I prefer to kick dirt). It's :censor::censor::censor::censor::censor::censor::censor: awesome! Dually diesel one ton crew cab. But, I do it in my own driveway when dad's not looking so I don't get yelled at!
And my neighbor's are 1/2 away all around. Nothing like the smell of diesel in the afternoon!

I have to admit I opened this thread just to find out what skidliest meant. The first thing that came to mind was dirty underwear...

Neighbors can stink. Hopefully they've not decided to do it every day. I'll still trade you for that freaking halfpipe though, which is finally gone.

People maybe just don't realize how noisy they are!

Ok you all must live next to me! It's Lee out there revving the dirt bike, the go-kart or the mini bike. And then the neighbor next to us is normally revving is drag car!
Ahh the country life!

Some people a few houses down drive those mini bikes up and down the street all summer. And those little things are LOUD.

I am half tempted to sit on my roof and chuck rocks at them.

Morons.

I live across from a Hell's Angel. If it's not the motor cycly it's the classic car. Our his friends with bikes - it can get loud!

It has to be a testosterone thing. My Harley has pretty loud pipes, but there is absolutely no need for me to rev it more than enough to get into gear without stalling - and that's when I'm rolling, not just sitting there!

Guys like that are the ones that give us biker chicks a bad name.

I so agree Betsy! Its a guy thing for sure! I will ride but I don't have to rev it up a thousand times. Oh I forgot to mention that Lee thinks revving the engine is like beeping the horn. Its supposed to get my attention so I can go outside to get something or give him something!
What is wrong with arking it and coming in like normal people!
