So our cat is vomiting shortly after eating. According to what I have read online, it looks like it might be because she is overeating her dry food, and when it expands she has to expel it. It's happened like 3 times in the past 10 days or so. Any suggestions on what we should do?

I would...

give her less food at a time

serve the food on a flat plate, even a dinner plate - so it's spread out, no gulping that way

also try elevating the plate a few inches, on a phone book or something.

If it still happens again despite those efforts, I would call the vet. Was there any hair in the vomit?

Yes-definitelyspread it out on a plate, also don't let her'free graze'(feed her smaller amounts more times a day. Also I think if you add a little water to the dry food it may help(with digesting)

Is he eating really fast? or just eating too much? or both?

I have a regurgitating kitty, the only thing that really worked for me was portion control. If I give her more than an ounce at a time, she barfs it up.

For us the problem is wet food, she seems to control herself better with the dry. She has a wide, elevated bowl and I always spread her food around so she has to work for it.
