All I read was the page header (Doctor finds spiderd in ear of boy...) to know that I can't look. Ever since I was little I've had a terribly fear of earwigs so I'm not even going there. Eeek!

OMG! That is so gross!! How do spiders decide that a kids ear is a good home? Wait till he tells his grand kids!

Under the cats, mostly.
Ew! I've seen an article here in Denmark about a teenager who had a snake in the sole of his foot.... but spiders in an ear?
I'll never sleep again!!

I still can't believe there was 2 of them in his ear!!!! When I saw it on the news this morning, they had way better shots. They were not small spiders by any means! 2 big yucky brown spiders living in your ear? OMG

Ouch is all I can say. Last summer/fall my middle son came running inside hollering about his ear. After a few minutes he calmed down and continued playing. Over the next couple of days he still complained his ear bothered him and then I noticed some discharge. Well off to the doctor he went. They looked into his ear and several gnats in his ear dead. Irrigated and medcine cleared it up.

I had a friend who had gone with another friend to take her little boy to the ER because he had a bad earache...well inside his ear they first found the tip of a crayon....then a roach came crawling out!!!

Movin' on up!
One of my coworkers is a former audiologist and he says that he used to find lots of insect eggs and insects, in clients' ears.

I saw that on KGW tonight. He is keeping the spiders in a cup - dead, of course. I imagine the spiders trying to figure a way out of there. Was probably a couple who wouldn't listen to one another about directions
