Not really old timers, but members that have been around TCS for a while. 425 points.

1. click on member's list
2. click on search members
3. click advanced search
4. under last post put today's date in the is after (or is before) box, and under options put "join date" and "in ascending order" in the order results by boxes, then click search now! voila!!

This is not correct. As promised, I am giving a hint after 6 hours.

What you have listed is the people that have been in TCS the longest that have posted today. There are active members that have been in TCS longer than the ones you have listed. The question wants to know which active members have been in TCS the longest. The key here is the word active. What does TCS consider to be an active member? If you click on Cat Forums, the page that comes up will give you that information.


No more hints. Contest is still open for six more hours.

Rats! foiled again! although I'm not finding where it is telling me what the definition of an active member is

when you click cat forums at the bottom it explains an active member is somebody who has been online within the last 60 days.

This is the correct answer! You win the 425 points and are the KatKwiz Whiz of the Day!
However, you could have been beaten. The post count had nothing to do with finding the answer so if somebody had submitted your same answer without putting in the post information, they would have won.


BTW, when you see the new logo for KatKwiz #40, you are going to be even more happy.

The key was the active members. If you go to it, but NOT click on it, rather do a "mouse over" that is, drag your mouse over it, you will see that a post in the last 60 days makes you an active member.

Yes, this was a hard one. If I had not given a hint, this might have been the first quiz ever with no correct answer.

Tomorrow will be easier.
