This is the first time i have been to the Forum and i really have to say there are alot of people here that are very helpful. Already i fell reasured about my kitty's problems. Well let me introduce my baby. He is now 3 months old i got him at 6 weeks. He is the most socialable cat. He loves people. All people which is rare with some cats. But he is a whiner.
He is the weirdest color of taupe and there are weird designs in his fun that is almost the same color of his fur but just alittle lighter. He is beautiful. I wish i knew how to put a picture of him on here. I have a digital camera but i don't know what i have to do. Well i just want to say thanks to some who have helped me and i hope i can help others with there problems in the future.

Hello, Carli! I wish I could help you with your technical problem vis-a-vis getting images from your digital camera onto this web site — but I can't. I'm sure somebody will stop by to provide helpful advice, however!

You've quite a cat there, liking everybody he meets. You must be providing him a good example in that regard, giving him a loving home and all that goes with it.

It think because he was around so many people at a young age (i got him at 6 weeks) he is just a social butterfly. Sometimes he just wants attention so much he will do something really stupid(like jump off something really high) when alot of people are around. He is a crazy one! He also likes to rip toliet paper off the rolls. hmmm well you have a good day!

Our DeeDee is a whiner and a social butterfly also. I have friends over once a week for a dance practice, and it's hard to dance with her weaving in and out of everyone's legs trying to get their attention! She's almost 3 now, and it has calmed down a little but she still MUST have her cuddle time EVERYDAY usually around 3-3:30. oops...must go, SHE WHO MUST BE OBEYED is calling for her cuddle time!

Hi Carli, and welcome. I'm a new member too (I just started on Saturday), and I already love the site. Everyone is really friendly and very helpful. Your kitty sounds adorable. Mine has me totally wrapped around her dainty little paw. She's trained me very well and I would be totally lost without her.

As for posting pictures, I can tell you how I did it (and it was my first time trying anything like this). It was really (surprisingly) pretty easy. All I did was set up a home page for myself through my internet provider (most offer free space - if yours doesn't you can do a search for "free home page" and I'm sure you'll find several that you can choose from). I had my pictures from my digital camera saved to my C Drive, and the home page I used just let me "browse" the files to select which pictures I wanted and popped them into the page. Once your home page is set, you can right-click on the picture, hit properties, and you'll find the URL address (looks like "http://your home page address/your file.jpg"). You can copy the address by right-clicking, and then paste it into your reply. Type "(img)" before the URL address, and "(/img)" after it. That will make the image pop into your post (you can double check by hitting "Preview Reply" before submitting it.

I hope that helps you. I'm sure others can probably give you an easier method, but this is what worked for me.

Well I did try the web-site and you know, i am just having a hard time understanding how to use it. I may just have someone help me figure it out. I have never done a web-page thing and it is going so so so so slow. But i will try later. thank you for the advice.

Hi GizmoPookey,

I don't what internet provider you use, but I use earthlink. Earthlink provides their members with free web space for home pages. Check on your providers "member services", "member benefits" or "customer service" sites to see if they do too. The only other provider that I have actual experience with is aol and I know they provide free space too. Let me know what you find, and in the meantime I'll check out some of the generic free space sites to see if I can find and easy-to-use one for you.

Hi GizmoPookey,

I found a pretty good free home page site. Its http://www.freehomepage.com. I ran through it once and it seems pretty easy to use. Just choose your layout and color scheme, then click on the "edit" buttons to put your own text and pictures in. Give it a shot, and let me know if you have any problems.
