My hands don't look like they're dry, but they are and the skin itches like crazy. My feet are also very dry. I try to give myself a pedicure on a weekly basis in order to keep the callouses under control, but the skin is still very dry (no cracking though...at least not usually). But the skin just rolls off when I have a shower and rub my feet and lower legs. Kind of disgusting, hehe And most creams just make it worse because they don't seem to soak in and just kind of moisturize the top layer of dead skin.
I went shopping for some better creams. I've been using "Curel", and while that is ok for hands, I didn't find it helped my feet very much. I've tried all kinds of things on my feet from foot creams to plain vaseline and even glycerine. I don't like creams with tea tree oil in them because I find the "tingling" annoying. So I just wanted something that worked without leaving a "minty fresh" feeling on my feet.
I bought the following the other day and really like them!
Jamieson Vitamin E Cream for my hands and elbows. And have been using a bit on my face at night.
Sally Hansen Miracle Cure for my feet and lower legs. This stuff is great!
