Oh how sad and scary too. My prayers are with everyone there.
She never said exactly where in her post, my guess would be Tulsa or Oklahoma city, there's nothing out on this side of the state to be of interest. Luckily, central and eastern OK. usually doesn't get the worst of the weather. There were the May 3rd tornadoes of 99 though...Originally Posted by Moz
Do you know where she was headed?
Nope - I'm about 4 hours away from Greensburg and am on the fringe of the storm that is still going on over here. A minute ago it started to hail (dime sized and the cats all left their window perches in a hurry) and now its pouring rain. We are on flood warnings thru at least tomorrow. The local weather channel has the heaviest rains happening across Oklahoma and Kansas, with Stillwater OK and Greensburg KS in the thick of the heaviest rain. Talk about adding insult to injury. It actually looks like rain all week here. On the fringe we're supposed to get a couple inches of rain.Originally Posted by mooficat

East central Kansas here. The rain let up a little so we went for a walk around the lake out back our house. It's way over it's banks and the feeder creeks are overflowing (one of them is on the edge of our property). The creek is usually dry but right now we have a few waterfalls. If we weren't on a hill, we'd probably be under water by now.Originally Posted by h~chan
