Labor?

My Little Callie Kitty is been vary loving and in my face today, lazy and nervous, she is a little over a year old and got out of the house, her tummy is large and her nipples have been pink for about four weeks now. i got her a box and have a quite place for her, but no milk has came from nipples, but her female part is swollen and moist looking.. she has been nesting for the last couple days.. I do not know what is going on this is my first mama kitty ever in my life,, please help

I'd say she is very close! If you GENTLY cup your hand on her tummy can you feel the babies moving? Have you been taking her temperature? if you have then check if it has changed. Good Luck with the babies! Some momma cats don't produce milk until after the kittens actually come out.

The little ones are not moving as much as they were yesterday, smaller movments today,

If you haven't already, please take a moment and read this thread so you can prepare yourself and your little girl for what is to come.

It sounds like she is very close though, so do keep her indoors, safe and protected.

You should know now that TCS a website devoted to responsible cat care and as such we advocate spay/neuter for ALL pets. Once your girl has safely delivered and weaned her babies, if you need assistance finding a low- or even no-cost spay/neuter clinic for her and her kittens, just let us know where you are and we may be able to point you in the right direction.
