Might be somewhat of a silly post to make. But its been one day since I decided to try and switch Ping over to TimberWolf. So far its not looking like he cares for this food at all. I am gonna keep trying but I just don't think its gonna go over well. Yesterday he only took a few bites of the food. And usually at night while I am in bed he eats more of the dry (usually the bowl is empty by morning) and its full of food. And he was going crazy for some wet food when I got up. Its a four pound bag so it may take a while to see if he really likes it or not.

But good news is he is kinda warming up to the Eagle Pack canned (duck and oatmeal) but is not over joyed with that. I am thinking next payday I will pick up some EVO canned and see if that goes over better.

Well I think I figured out why he wouldn't eat the TimberWolf food today. As I was making supper I watched Ping walk over to the dry food sniff for a minute and walk away. And it was really starting to bug me why he was doing that because yesterday when I first brought the food home I gave him a sample and he ate that fine. So I picked the bowl up and got to looking around in the food. Well some how some seasoning salt got into his food and thats why he would only sniff but not eat any. So I dumped that food washed and dried the bowl and refilled. And yep he ate then. So there ya go. Hopefully he keeps likeing this food.

Well lets see here he is slowly warming up to the Timber Wolf. You could tell this morning that he did eat a good portion of his dry last night but the bowl was not empty this morning. Maybe he does not need as much of this food to be full. I don't know. If he continues I may just switch him to Orijen hoping for a better reaction. But other than that no digestion issues or anything so that I am glad about.

Now on to the Eagle Pack. He did not seem to like the Duck and Oatmeal formula. So that flavor is off the list when I go to pick up more. I tried a different flavor yesterday Chicken and Lamb and he loves that one. So that one will stay in rotation. Tomorrow I will try the Turkey and Barley and see how that goes.

When I go back next payday to get more Eagle Pack I am gonna pick up a few cans of Innova and Evo canned and see how he likes that. If he likes them I will add them into the rotation of things he likes.
