There Here!! There Here! My girls have finally moved in with us!!!!

I agree too- i actually left three of my animals with her and took three with me. Abilene and Sophie are best buddies so i didn't want to seperate them also...but if Abby keeps up this crying for the girls i'm not sure what to do

my mom mentioned adopting another kitty/friend for her so i'm keeping an eye out at my shelter for one that might be compatiable with Abilene should the need arise. I just hope it all calms down and works out soon. this is all really nerve racking.

Sure, just give her some time. If she can't adjust see if you can find someone for her. It's amazing how they pick us and not the other way around. I hope she doesn't cry for too long.

me eithor- i feel like such a "bad guy" for moving the girls when i hear about Abbie crying (and i know my mom misses them) but i do believe in my heart that it was the right decision. the girls seem to be doing good tonight i just went in there with them for a little bit to play and brush them Izzy was being a snob though and wouldn't have anything to do with me but Jasmine and Velvet were having a good ole time getting their fur brushed I hope Izzie warms up soon. If i talk to my mom later on in the week and Abbie is still crying - i'm going to see if she wants to come to the shelter and look at some of the kitties. (i have a few in mind that would be GREAT with her).

I have some my mom snapped of them a few days before i moved them! I'll upload them and resize them so i can post them I'll have to take some new ones once they get comfy and are less timid of their new surroundings. (right now i don't want to stress them- especially izzy) i'll get to those pics right now!

thankyou! i am sooo relieved at how well everyone is doing around one another as well!!! the girls have already met Kojak seeing how he snuck in their room last night (but they all got along so it's ok!) and then today kojak visited them again on his leash and harness.....as did each doggie The dogs did VERY well with them. Jasmine and Velvet went right up and introduced themselves Isabella is avoiding those "weird drooly things" at all costs she's my little princess, what can i say

Nikki, I am so glad to hear things are going so well having your girls beside you again. Heres sending vibes and prayers that everyone adjusts to the newness of things. Abilene is with your Mom and she will know exactly how to comfort her. She also has Sophie and Ginger with her too, so you know she is not alone. Good Luck to you all.

Thanks Pam- i appreciate that. I talked to my mom again today and she said she and the other girls were doing better, but Abilene keeps wondering around the house looking for them So we talked about it some more and she is thinking about getting a friend for Abilene..... enter....Victoria

Victoria is my favorite kitty at the shelter i work at- she is a true sweetheart. She nursed her little of kittens and also took on another after they were dumped at our shelter as orphans. She's the sweetest thing ever and just melts into your arms everytime you hold her She also does well with other kitties and dogs....and she HAS been around rabbits (as we have had two at our shelter in the last month) So i know if my mom decides to adopt- she would be the one i would suggest She's just stunning and deserves a wonderful new home! If Abilene doesn't settle down soon, i'm going to take my mom up there to look at little Victoria

oh she is just the sweetest thing ever i love her to pieces!!!! she always SCREAMS for me every time i walk into the cat room. all of the staff just adore her as well lol. if my mom does decide to get abby a friend- i am going to suggest Victoria- i think she would be perfect! not to mention -that would be one more kitty rescued and placed into a great forever home!! i think it would also fill that void in my mom's heart a little bit (or help!) from missing the girls soo much. i was thinking about fostering Victoria now (we let people foster that live near the shelter for three days to see if the animal does well in the new home before they decide to adopt.) i was thinking of fostering victoria and letting mom see how she does for 3 days...but i decided to just wait because i don't want to stress my mom out with a new kitty if she's not 100% sure she wants to make that committment yet or not. So i'll let my mom do it in her own time. but i do think she'd be a nice mother's day suprise

Oh i agree- little Victoria is just a sweetheart!!! She does very well with other animals as well so i would think she would do ok with Abilene but you never know till ya try! (abilene is a feral kitty so sometimes she can be grumpy- but with years of us working with her and socializing her she seems to do really well with other kitty cats. so i think her and victoria would be a good match!) Kojak is doing great!!! He adores his new sisters!!!! He wants to be best friends with all of them (it's really cute!) he meeps and talks to them the girls are still not sure of him but are ok with him lol. Jasmine and Velvet seem to get along with him jsut fine...but Isabella thinks he's annoying and wants nothing to do with him Should be fun!

oh it is!!!! it won't be complete per say till i move everything in still need to move the rest of my stuff! but it is definitely complete as feeling at "home" here i feel like i'm finally home now with all of my beautiful furbabies here it's such a wonderful feeling!! Awwww omg!!! Isabella is exploring now too she just meeped at me!

no kidding!! lol i'm finally evening out the paying field heeh they are ALL doing well tonight- all are running around together and have been fully introduced. Isabella is the only one who's not so sure about everything but with time i think she'll do ok. They all love Kojak and little Kojak is sooo happy to have other kitty friends! Jasmine is not crazy about Foster's acting crazy..lol she put him in his place earlier when he licked her right on top of her nose
