I received a sample from the company (as a prospective retailer), and just could not get the cat I trialed this with to accept it well. However, I probably did not give it long enough, and/or may have tried to transition too quickly.

I then donated it to a friend who was homecooking for her cat with real allergy issues. He really took to it (she did add something to it, can't recall what, think it was some chicken), eats it well, and his coat has cleared up, his urinary issues are resolved, her vet is impressed and says it is doing great things for him.

So...follow their instructions carefully on how to transition, but I would def. recommend considering it when looking for a dehydrated raw. The company has an excellent reputation.

Thanks, Pat & Alix. Unfortunately, I don't have the luxury of transitioning as advised (as you may know from my earlier post) as a result o the cat food recall. I'm just desperately searching for something that my babies will take to! All this recall stuff has me sick to my stomach, so i'm leaning toward trying a raw diet. I just bought Stella and chewy's frozen patties and am going to see if Linus and Lola will touch them in about 30 minutes. Wish me luck! Thanks for all of your help, and I'm totally open to any other suggestions you might have!

Forgive me if I am repeating something I, or others have already posted, but imho, the best site on raw, and many aspects of cat nutrition, is www.catinfo.org It may well talk about transitioning, typical response etc.

I've heard ***very ** good things about Stella and Chewy's. Keeping my fingers crossed that this will be the answer for your kitties.
