Pregnant red pepper

Last night my brother was chopping up a red pepper for tacos and he found what seems to be a baby pepper inside of the pepper he was chopping up.

LOL. It should be a LAW that all red peppers get spayed/neutered!! LOL! That's really funny, I've never seen a baby red pepper be born....

How cool!!! I suppse it is possible....

That happens way more than you would think. When I worked at Subway, I had to cut up about 20 green peppers every day and I usually found 2 or 3 like that every day. I always called them the babies

I eat the babies.

They're always really sweet.

That's really cool!

They are actually quite common - but are more like brother/sister, than mother /child. They were fertalized at the same time, but one 'embryo' enclosed the other. Even happens in humans!

Nope I don't like red peppers that much

Ewww I hate that. I was making an egg sandwich about a month ago and both eggs were double yolk. I ended up throwing most of it in the garbage because it just tasted gross.
