Argh! I could not get a client off the phone. She kept going and going. She would not take the hint that I had work to do (on her file). She had a bad experience at one of our office and had to complain, but of course did not get the name of the person she had issues with. She told me the same stuff over and over and over. It didn't help that I had to deny her request, but at least I did it nicely. What a pain!

How do you get clients off the phone?

I tell them I will look everything up in the computer and get back to them just as soon as i have the info they need.

It COMPLETELY depends on the client. I don't have any one standard method.

I work at a locksmith company dispatching jobs. Do you know how many people get mad at ME when either my tech was late, they got overpriced, or THEY themselves locked their keys in their car - and they are going to be late for work...

So when you find this answer out- let me know!
