Their ears have popped up finally!

And the small amount of stroking and handling Ive been doing every day with the kittens seems to have paid off as they don't hiss at all now when I pick them up and they already seem to recognise me (when Im in the nesting room, they will wobble out of the crate to come and say hello
)

I wanted to ask when can you tell if they are going to be longhaired or not. Both kittens' fur looks longer than the average shorthaired kitten..and my guesses is that they will be longhaired...but not 100% sure.

Sometimes you can tell at 2 weeks. I believe long haired domestics aren't very common. Most are medium-hairs or semi-long hairs.

thanks for that
mum is long haired. Your probably right...its semi-long that Im seeing. Ive seen short haired kittens and these 2 are not the same, in terms of their fur.
