Ok so we have a sunroom and well we give it a good cleaning once a year, well it was that time of year, and I have been cleaning since I woke up at 2 (I know but hey I needed to sleep in, havent in a while lol) And well I have no idea how long my mom was out there, it couldn't have been that long though because she did have to take my brother to the bank

But anywho, we have stuff out in front of our house, and inside the house! But the sunroom is almost compelete
! See my brother usually helps do this, but he got paid so hes down at his friends house, now they know we are cleaniing but no one offered any help

I also did the one big window thats in the living room and u see the sunroom and well man that was hard, I had to balance on a recliner

Blue is upset we are outside and shes not so she has been scratching at the window with her little meow, now when I come in she is fine
laying right by me

Who else has done spring cleaning or has to?

I was doing great for a week! I seem to clean more when I PMS! LoL I do have to start dejunk mom's house soon. Oh I am not looking forward to cleaning the 3 closets out. I don't mind throwing stuff away but we have to move it all out before we can see what's junk. I just know her closet will be the worst. She buys gifts throughout the year and forgets where she hid them and then there are the clothes she wishes she can fit into once again.

I am afraid to even start. I have gotten rid of alot of clothes that the boys have out grown and some toys that they no longer play with. Our local Salvation Army loves us - we have dropped off a lot of stuff. We were going to have a garage sale, but that takes way more energy then I have.

The silly thing about it is I don't mind doing it once I get started, however getting started seems to be the problem. I definitely need to make a start on it soon. My big thing is I have electric heat and after it has been on all winter the house does need a good polishing. Also to with the warmer weather my kitties have started to shed like crazy, making cat fur dust bunnies an issue...

I actually have a poster in my spare bedroom that say Enter at your own risk the Dust bunnies are armed and dangerous.

Maybe I will get a huge burst of energy and get it finished this weekend, I guess stranger things have happened.

I actually like spring cleaning. Things look really bad when you start and because you turn everything upside down and inside out while cleaning it actually looks worse. But in the end when everything is clean and back in it's rightful place, it looks marvelous.

I've been sick and not able to do detailed cleaning because of my health issues, and I find that I miss being able to clean. I have someone from homecare come every 2 weeks to do basics like vacuuming, mopping floors, the bathroom and dusting, but it's just not the same as when I do it.

Right there with you Tierre... I don't mind the cleaning either it is just getting started that really takes me forever... Once I've started I tend to get in the mood and my BF knows that the rest of the day is usually shot since I will not leave something unfinished!

Our roommate is moving out in August (((
))) and I can not wait to clean out his stinky room and make it our computer room!! We also plan on getting some new furniture and really making the apartment feel like an actual home and not a crappy dorm room anymore.

So my Spring Cleaning is restricted to just our room this year... but then I get a whole place Summer cleaning... I am so odd lol

I actually don't mind cleaning so much- it's just by the time i'm done with work (very back breaking working at a shelter) and tending to my foster kittens as well as my own furbabies- i'm to exhausted to want to clean. Fur is aweful too- i just vaccumed two days ago and the rug is already COVERED in fur
Anyone wanna come help

I haven't really started-I'm to the point that I would hire someone to wash my windows!! All I have to really do is vaccum and wash the screens then wipe the sills but I just do not like doing this!! I did clean up the basement and the garage is pretty good. Just need a good vaccum and dusting througout the house though....
