someone who received my book in the mail. She said the sonnets were beautiful and meaningful. She is giving the book to a friend for Mothers' Day. This friend is a wonderful cat-mama with no human children. Her cat, Holly, always gives her mama a Mothers' Day gift; she gets help to pick it out from this friend. I think that's so sweet. My own cats don't recognize any holidays at all. Every day is Cat Day.

That IS sweet. My mother's day gifts consist of furr balls and scratches (and a few head butts if I'm lucky!)
How sweet that is..I remember one mother's day (before I had human children) and my DH gave me a card and some flowers from my fur-babies, and the card has each of their paw prints as the signature..I thought that was so sweet..
It was our mothers day over here in March, and my two fur girls bought their mum some perfume
