I've been having cat's ever since I can remember. All I know is how to provide a good home and play with them so I need some suggestions on their behavior.

I have 2 eight month old kittens, a male and a female. The male is kind of aggressive and plays a bit rough with the female, which is gentle. How can I calm the little guy down and teach him not to bite her so hard?

Most of the time she plays along, but now and then the male gets too excited and bites her hard and she screams out. He gets rough playing with us too, if he latches on with his teeth and claws, you better do some major praying and pry him off quickly.

I have been putting him in TimeOut for being rough like that, which is going to my room with the door closed, but he just falls asleep. I doubt if my method of correction is working.

Having a male neutered will sometimes tone down the aggression. If he is climbing onto her back and biting her neck... that is more of a reproductive thing. They are both old enough to breed. If they are both fixed, give him a stuffed animal to pounce on and attack. This way he can get rid of the energy in a way that is acceptable! I hope this helps!

Yes, they were both fixed in mid September. I'll try the stuffed animal thing.
