I was around several years ago, but somehow I lost this site. Four cats own me: Josie, a calico, came from a local rescue; Arthur, a white Turkish Angora with blue eyes, came with my roommate. Peaches, a champaign tabby, was abandoned by her people and spent 7 months in a cage at a vet's office, and Paisley, a calico, who was found in a dumpster.
Only Josie and Arthur are cuddly. Peaches has been here a year and is slowly coming around. We are allowed to pet her about 10 times now, and she has been know to sleep on my bed. Paisley is a year old and very noisy. She won't be held and screams at whoever holds her.
My soulmate, Divot, went to the Bridge 2 years ago. He was the sweetest orange boy and will forever be missed.
I write sonnets about my cats and sometimes write special ones for those of friends who have gone on to the Bridge. Some of my poems are in my book, Cat-House Sonnets.
