Wishing I were anywhere but here
I just finished watching "The Pursuit of Happyness" last night and it really got to me.
I made it all the way through the movie without crying and cried at the end thinking about all he had to endure and was so happy he got the job!
Are there any movies that inspire you?

I love the movies "Shine" and "I Am Sam." Both great movies about disability, and people who rise to overcome their challenges. Very inspirational to me!

"Amelie"
reminds me to appreciate the little things in life.

Other movies like "V for Vendetta", "Manufacturing Consent" or "The Corporation" inspire me to cause trouble.

(no worries... I believe in non-violence)

I'm sure there are others... I'll have to think about it.

I use to live by Swing Kids. I LOVED that movie when I was younger. The message of the movie I whole heartedly agree with: If you think you're going to regret not doing it, do it.

I haven't found much that have inspired me lately though. LOTR was probably the last really good movie that I saw, but I'm not about to go out and battle evil and a bunch of orcs.

Yes, it inspires me to understand the beauty all around, in every little thing. I love that movie.

Pay It Forward has to be number one on my list.

I think we could all learn a little something from that movie.
