Backwards... sounds cool! Just make sure who ever you recruit is about making YOU happy and not themselves. My mom is trying to re-create her dream wedding (which she didn't get) through mine. I wish we'd eloped!

As for getting your boy motivated Jodie, you could always sic your parents on him! LOL

Very pretty ring. Do I see sapphires?? I got married in Jamacia & Sandals planned it all. If that is what your are going for I could tell you about our experience

Yup! I've always known that the engagement couldn't just be diamonds. I really do not favor all diamond rings (not that they're not pretty, I just can't see myself wearing them for x+ years).

So he did really good on the ring
He said that all the women in the jewelry store had to try it on one last time before they cleaned an boxed the ring

Yes, it's too big. I wore it out to the grocery store and wound up placing it on my middle finger just because I was so scared I was going to lose it!

I didn't wear it to work today and probably won't until I get it resized (going to take it in after work today). I don't want to lose it in a computer or something


I also don't want to flick anyone off showing it to them.

Congrats!

I'm not able to see the pictures very well. They are really small. I tried clicking on them to see if they were larger, but nothing happens.

Have you any idea if it will be a long or short engagement?

Nothing is set in stone yet, but *maybe* next summer? I have to finish my Masters degree first (end of this year) and then at some point of 2008 (?).


The ring is now being resized. I took it back to the store he bought it from and all the ladies were excited to see the ring again.
They really cracked me up over there. (Plus I got to hear how excited he was about picking out the ring)
