My precious Miki!

My little one crossed the bridge yesterday. He had to be put down because he suffered from severe injuries. Our neighbour found him in her backyard last friday. When we came to see him, he recognized us and started weeping and crying for help. We took him to the vet immediately and she told us he had been bitten by a dog. She took care of his wounds and she said there is still hope for him to recover. We took care of him days and nights, medicating him with painkillers and all sorts of pills and liquids the vet gave us. We took him to the vet every day for consultations and exams, but yesterday his condition worsened and there was no other option left but to put him down....he suffered too much. I just hope that he knows we loved him so much even though he was with us just for a couple of months. He loved to play, I used to throw him a ball and he would bring it back to me and get ready for another round of fun! He was so funny, he actually barked at bugs. We had loads of fun times with him and he will be missed. He was one year old. I know he´s okay now, no more pain and misery, just having a good time with his other furry friends.
Dear Miki, we will miss you forever. You´ll always be in our hearts.

That was a terrible thing to happen, but you did all you could possibly do. I am sure you have many good memories of little Miki and in time they will give you comfort. RIP little one.

I am so sorry for your loss, but Miki is now not suffering and playing over at the Bridge. I am sure Miki knows that you loved him and you were taking care of him.

Miki was my kitty. I suppose the barking part confused some of you. When he would see a bug, he made really funny sounds that sounded like puppy barking. Thank you all!
