*sigh* My 3 year old sister was scissor happy tonite while I was at work and cut my kittens whiskers. I know his whiskers are like his "feelers." Will he be in pain or does is only hurt at the time they were cut? What can I do to comfort him? And how long will it take to grow back? Also, somehow she got fingernail polish in his fur on his head. Is there any way to get this out? I have no idea how they let her do this. I feel soooo horrible for Magoo. Please help.

Don't worry whiskers are just thick hairs. Your kitty will be unbalanced and unco-ordinated for a while, while he gets used to the shorter length. It won't last too long so don't worry. As for the nail polish you can pick at it until it all pulls out. I wouldn't put any chemicals so near his eyes. He will have a bald spot for a little while but that will grow baack too!

Poor kitty- he will have trouble getting around, at night especially for a bit. Also feed him with a pie plate of food instead of a bowl as he will have problems with depth perception as well. If you get a little bit of crisco shortening and put it on the fingernail polish spot, let it sit for about 3 minutes and wipe it off- it should remove it all right.

LOL He sure does look like this is his punk stage. He's doing pretty well, actually. He's still the same old Magoo. He's a little nervous when Hannah, my little sister, comes tumbling near him. But she now understands that kittys deserve respect, too. And in return, both her and Magoo seem much more, I dont know what the word is, I guess at ease. He purrs when she holds him. So maybe he knows that Hannah isn't going to do anything to hurt him. :tounge2:
