We started the cats eating some wet, not a lot because Dad says it's too expensive, but some. I was wondering how much wet food a cat (10 pounds and 5 pounds) needs to eat each week for it to actually make a difference in the health of their urinary tract and kidneys.

A very general rule is ... 1/2 tablespoon to one talblespoon per lb per day if feeding wet only ...

Aim for 50% and then adjust from there ... I have always done 50/50 till recently ( I stopped about five yrs ish)

If you can't afford to do 50/50, I would try for at least 25% of their calories coming from wet food.
