Jeza has itchy butt. After she uses the litterbox she gets out and drags her butt on the carpet and then licks herself. Never done this before and it's been going on for about a week! She's had two UTIs before, and she peed everywhere but the litterbox, so I can rule that out. Also, no diarrhea. Stools are normal. I have put her on a diet of less food... and also giving her small handfuls of Nutro Max dry to try to acclimate her for a future change (she's ultra sensitive to food changes). I also recently stopped giving her wet food because I think it's contributing to her weight gain. She's on SD hairball lite.

Thanks!

Cleo was doing the exact same thing a couple of months ago. I took her to the vet and had her anal glands expressed. They were huge, and my vet said that they were probably causing her a lot of discomfort. She's been fine since she had them expressed.

Could be worm s , anal glands

if she has anal gland issues wet is best ... You may want to look at No grain wets...

corn and by products are VERY hard on there digestive systems...
