Yeah, I was calling the rat "Kitty" when we first got her. I just made that her name because for some reason I kept calling her that. It fits her though. She LOVES playing with the cats!

The black and white cat's mom is a cat that I picked up from a parking lot and put on our farm. He was from her second litter and I took him before anyone else did. The farm has a reputation of, if you want a kitten and you can catch it, it's yours. The kittens never stick around too long. He was and still is the only kitten she has ever had that wasn't black or tabby, and she's has three litters now!

The gray and white we picked up from animal control here in Cedar Rapids. We were looking for another two toned cat and we just happend to find her the day she came into the pound. We were so lucky to get her, she is such a sweet heart! When we brought her home we couldn't believe how simular their markings are. They are almost exactly the same!

So these two were actually just lucky to end up with us and we were lucky to end up with them! They should be twins though, they love eachother so much. Enzo, the male black and white, has an absolute FIT if we ever take Leya and leave him behind. He will meow for a good hour and won't stop pestering you to get Leya back!

Enzo's Mommy

Enzo's Daddy

I just had to put these pictures on here. His mom is the most lovely cat we have out there and all her kittens have her personality. His dad is wild, but is getting better and sometimes you can pet him a time or two. He looks soooo much like his dad!!!

We've thought about it, but kids in our family and kids from other families that come to visit keep the number of cats down. My parents were divorced and both remarried, but the families somewhat merged so there are 80+ people we can talk to about kittens. The cats have a good home out there for a farm and always have cat food and tons of water because of the horse troughs, and bucket of water just for them. Right now we don't even have any kittens left out of 2 litters because people know they can come get kittens from us. Especially after they meet Enzo...then they really want one of Rodeo's kittens! Rodeo is his mom, she got that name because she would climb up a tree while I was ridding and jump down onto my horse so she could go for a ride!
