What is a cat's normal breathing rate?

Thanks. Sorry, I forgot to add, I mean when they are laying down, resting. Sometimes I look at Villy and wonder if she's breathing really fast or normal.

Sometimes when a cat or dog is in a deep sleep they can appear to take rapid breaths too....but I don't think that is what you are refering to.

If you are concerned you can check vitals a few times for consistancy and then consult a vet

Just had to look this up myself recently......it's 20-40 breaths per minute.
