I'm just back now from taking Nikita to the vet for her annual checkup and boosters. It went really well. She was relatively quiet in the taxi over there and back. She swore and hissed lots at the vet but didn't physically struggle or show any aggression. More just communicating her displeasure at the whole thing rather loudly. Weird to see her hiss that much though, I don't ever see her hiss normally.
The vet was really impressed with her condition and said I was doing a fantastic job keeping her healthy, she's fit and very muscular, her weight is good with not a hint of being even slightly overweight, shiny coat, eyes, ears, lungs and hearts great, teeth good. Basically full marks! Not that I was worried but it's nice to go to the vets and have things go really well.
Yeah she was weighed there and she's 12 pounds now.
So basically yay!
