For those who don't know, a wubby is an object that a small child, or in this case my big black cat, carries around with them. It can be a stuffed animal, blanket, or toy. Scratch has taken a pair of DH boxer shorts.

Last night DH toss a pair of boxers on our bed and Scratch bolted out of no where and started to roll around on them. Kind of like when you give a cat catnip. DH went to grab them from Scratch and it didn't work out too well. Scratch took them in his mouth, growled, and ran off. DH and I just sort of looked at each other and laughed.

This morning we found them curled up in Scratch's favorite sleeping spot right by the window.

We are never going to get the boxers back are we?

As long as he doesn't start WEARING them, I think they have gone over to the realm of cat wubbys.

Time to get DH a new pair.

Perhaps... he also has a thing for women's shoes. He's an odd kitty.

Abby has a pair of rolled up socks that she's like that with too. She doesn't sleep with them, but she seems to like them to be in the same room as I am in and she will leave a cuddle session to go and bring the socks into the room. I know when she is bringing the socks because of the tone of her meow.

It's not a gift she's bringing me... it's more of her way of announcing herself.

The funny thing is is when I'm in bed at night and she's cuddling, sometimes she will leave to go get the socks and then get lost on the way back
. I can hear her frantically meowing while walking around with the socks and I have to keep calling her name so that she can find me again.

But I think your DH has lost his shorts, lol

Thats so funny!! I noticed that Taffy has been "hoarding" one of my daughters pink fuzzy purses lately...its so funny to watch him do this! He runs 90 to nothing back and forth thru the house with it in his mouth!!

BTW-I had never heard of a *wubby* until my DH sisters daughter always carried one(her blankie) I think its cute term.

Scratch is so funny about things... he's a fussy kitty so when he gets attached to things it's for the long haul.
