Pet Expo in Kansas City is once again being sponsored by No More Homeless Pets. If you live in the area, I encourage you to attend. There will be a number of rescue groups with their adoptable pets. A CFA Cat Show, dog agility trials, free giveaways from pet vendors, local celebrities (Gary Lezak usually brings up his 3 dogs), and fun for all. Ticket sales go to non profit rescue organizations, so by attending, you are helping a homeless pet.
The Pet Expo runs this Saturday and Sunday at the American Royal.
