I'm sure i haven't posted these before. They are a year old almost, and taken before i got my new pretty camera. In 10 weeks when we go back for our anniversary, i will be able to take even better ones!

Down at the beach, pretty much the view from our cabin window

open range zoo

he just finished stamping his hoof at us!

werribee mansion

the room i wouldn't go in..the mansion is haunted. there were no windows behind me, and that is not a finger

de plane, de plane!!

a beautiful place called Mon Salvat. An artists commune, many more buildings like that and green rolling hills, a beautiful chapel, buildings with bluestone lined floors, small spiral staircases and dark beams

OMG at the haunted room one. I don't know if I'd have wanted to stand there.

I love that corset--any story there?

There isn't a huge amount of information to find, unless you go there. It is oold. It was built between 1874-1877.

"From the lowlands of Scotland, Thomas and Andrew Chirnside travelled to Australia in the mid 1800s. Armed with determination and motivated by their family motto ‘Do or Dieâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji], the brothers set about creating a vast pastoral empire. Werribee Park is a testament to their successful business venture whilst offering visitors of today a rare glimpse into the extravagant opulence of a bygone era.

Step back in time in the superbly restored Mansion and listen to the Chirnside family chatter through a fantastic audio tour. Meet May, an enthusiastic laundry maid with a tragic story to tell.
Ten hectares of exquisite formal gardens surround the Mansion and feature an ornamental parterre, grotto, heritage listed trees and expansive manicured lawns. With spectacular highlights every season the garden is the perfect place to relax with a picnic or take a leisurely stroll all year round."

There were two particular rooms i wouldn't step foot in. As soon as i got to the doorway i told Tristan i felt really hesitant and uncomfortable and walked on to the next room.

He is a white doberman. He is not really considered albino, but has albino in his bloodline. His mom and dad were both white.... they weren't supposed to get together. The breeder we got him from usually bred white ones with a colored one to get mixed offspring. He is a great watchdog, but he is getting quite old. He is 6 now, and that is middle age or so for a doberman. Also, he is HUGE!! Most dobermans should weigh about 80 lbs, but he is about 140!! He isn't really fat, well, maybe a little, but he is really tall, and has a large frame. That one was taken last summer. The others were a few years ago, when he was just a puppy!

Smantha, you have a lovely albino Dobe.. what a face!!!
He just looks so sweet and loving.
He's rather heavily built, and looks like he could stand to lay off the treats, though, LOL!

Edit: Does he have small ears or is he cropped and flopped? jw

Thanks, his ears were cropped before we got him, but we think they were cut too long. They never have stood up. We tortured him for months trying to get them to stand up when he was little. We finally gave up. Guess they shouldn't have even bothered getting them cropped!!

Are they cropped for a real reason, like health? Or is it aesthetic?

It was totally aesthetic. Guess that is how they get the Doberman's their "look".

His sister is white too, and they didn't crop her ears because when they did her tail, they almost couldn't get her to stop bleeding. That is common in the white ones apparently. Kilo doesn't have that problem luckily.

The cropping of the tail I believe is a little more than aesthetic. I have not seen one with a tail, but apparently they are really long, and they knock everything over? Dunno.

I just think it's cruel, unless they have cancer or some sort of health problem. Same as declawing cats. But that's a whole other thread.

But your pup is very pretty
