Thanks, I was annoyed at the time that she ruined my pic, it was just a shot of the bridge but she came running down... but it turned out quite well

Some beautiful pictures you all have taken.

I just recently got into photography, although I've been taking pictures for quite some time with a junky point and shoot. My fiance just gave me a Sony A100KDSLR, and I've been learning for about a month.

Here are a few I've taken:

One of my absolute favorites that I took was of my older brother showing his daughter (toddler at the time) how to fish.
They were sitting on a little dock together at sunrise.
I took the pic from behind and to one side, the sun was making the water all sparkly and the reflection blurred the focus very slightly and bathed them in a halo of light.
It was very poignant.
I no longer have any negatives of it and the original and an 8x10 were given to my brother on father's day the following year.

Of pics that I do still have, this one is my favorite:

My boy, Bear (10 months at the time), looking very thoughtful

Hi

This are some really great pics.

What camera do you use?

It might be an idea for those that are really interested to check out some Photography sites. I don't want to add the links because I don't know if I am aloud, if I am please let me know.

If we're sharing photography site this one here has been great:
http://www.dpchallenge.com/

They have weekly themes and challenges and then people vote. There are also forums where you can get help etc.

A photo I took from an airplane. Needed a fair bit of photoshop work to make it pop though.
