Someone on our local freecycle site is getting rid of another pregnant cat due anyday. I'm thinking of taking it. Do you think it would be a issue with my other cat who just had babies? I have a huge 2-story house and Mama is upstairs, so I could keep the other one downstairs. I just hate to see a pregnant cat get dumped at the shelter, it would be euthanized for sure.

I wouldnt think there would be a problem. I had two females that both had litters within a week of each other and the moms would actually leave all the kittens (one in one litter and five in the other) together and switch back and forth feeding. The kittens did great and each mom got some free time to relax and hide away for a little bit. It was quite cute. To be on the safe side keep one upstairs and one downstairs but they are bound to run into each other eventually...)

That's great of you to take her in! Please keep us updated... and pictures please! Let me know her name and when you think she's due and I'll add her to the kitten watch thread!
