Somebody please save me!!!!
I am in the absolute worst meeting I have every been in in my whole freaking life!! It's a :censor::censor::censor::censor::censor::censor::censor: marathon meeting from 8am - 5pm today and tomorrow because a few of our vendors didn't prepare some documents they were suppose to so we brought them all in to prepare them the next 2 days. I figured we'd be crazy busy helping them, but I was told to sit in this room and "help when needed". It's now almost 3pm and I've been sitting here since 8am and haven't done a godamn thing! There's only one vendor in the room I'm in and there are 3 of us from our company in here to help them! How many people can you get to type crap up and help out?
I'm ready to fall asleep. I'm bored out of my skull!
:censor::censor::censor:!! And to boot it's so damn quiet in here that I was eating celery a few minutes ago and looked up to see them all staring at me. How embarassing.
This sucks so bad!
and I have to do it again tomorrow.
(I did tell them though that I have an "appointment" tomorrow around lunchtime and would have to leave. For those of you in the PL you know about my appointment....
that will be a nice break in the day )

"Our meetings are held to discuss problems which wouldn't arise if we held fewer meetings."

I forget who said that, but he obviously worked at the place I used to.

Yeah....he worked where I work as well. I use to tell everyone we needed a meeting to discuss and schedule our meetings.

This thing dragged out till 4:30, then I had enough and said I had to go. Thing is we've got folks in from Germany (6 hours ahead of us) and San Diego (3 hours behind us). Since they all flew in yesterday they were like the walking dead today.
Of course and then I made a major No-No. I'm such and idiot!
In addition to "our" vendors, we also had one of our customers there too (these parts we're buying from the vendors are for them). There was only one guy here this time from our customers place and I've met him before. He's really down to earth, nice guy, great sense of humor, so as I was leaving I said "Well, I've had enough for one day, I'm outta here"
. I always say that to all the folks I work with. It's a joke, except I forgot who I was talking to. Our CUSTOMER!!
Like I said, he does joke around, but still. I was horrified all the way home after realizing what I had done. It was like saying "I don't give a crap that you're here, I'm bored". So needless to say, I had to send him some information from home and I added on a little thing at the bottom to say that I apologize and that I hope he realizes that I was joking around.
I'm so stupid!!
Anyways...let's hope tomorrows meeting is better. At least I get a nice lunch break!
