Cute things that cats do!

Ok, so today I'm in a really good mood and I want to hear about all the cute things that your cats do! You can make your post as short or as looooooooong as you want! I can't wait to hear about your little furrbabies!

Let me start...

So I just discovered this cute thing the other day. I was making kissing noises to PHX when he was sitting on my lap. I kept making the noises repeatedly, and after doing this a couple of times- PHX actually bit my lips! He didn't bite them,just like a little quick nibble. He was looking at me like "what's up mom" It was soooo frickin' cute, now I do this everyday and every time I do it he will either nibble on my lips or he'll use his paw and put it on my lips. So cute!!!

I also have one more really cute thing that PHX does. He is like obsessed with my neighbors (we live in condos) and he goes over to their house with me to hang out sometimes. Well, everytime we bring him outside on a leash, he sits at the neighbors door and meows like "hey let me in!" also, if he's in the house and see's the neighbor walk by outside- he'll meow to him like "hey come in and pet me" It's sooo adorable. PHX has really come to the liking of going outside on a leash with me (he's an inside cat) and will ask me to bring him out. I love it!

Now, lets hear yours......

Every moring I get a "wake up call" from Tucker
He Jumps on my head and bats at my eyelashes trying to get me up. If that doesn't work he'll press his face to mine and Purr....a loud rumbling purr and fall back asleep He's the sweetest boy!

Diesel likes to burrow under my chin and knead and drool all over me
He also enjoys grooming my eyebrows

Hemmy is the world's greatest snuggler. He sleeps in between my husband and I, under the covers and everything. He'll nestle up against one of us and put his paws on the other (so neither one of us is left out.) Even then it's like he can't get close enough. He'll wriggle some more to try to get even closer. It's the best!

One of these days I am going to figure out how to pronounce PHX. Perhaps you have said in the past but I missed it. Maybe you could have a poll to see how others would pronounce it. Or do you call him Pee Atch Ex? Well, I used to have a dog called Ziggler Zyglob, so names interest me!

PHX sounds like a social little guy.

I think how Sho politely asks before jumping on my lap or snuggling is cute. Also when he wants DH to feed him he'll stand on his hind legs and tap DH on his arm, while looking at him imploringly with his big eyes.

Tomas is extra cuddly, he loves to snuggle my neck and lick and nip at my chin. Cute unless I'm trying to sleep.

PHX is a siamse mix. So YES, he is VERY VERY social! Even if he doesn't know you, he'll still let you rub his tummy! I keep his treats on top of the entertainment center along with the turtle food, etc. Well, whenever I feed the turtle, PHX thinks I'm getting his treats so he'll stand up on his back legs and stretch his body and try to reach up ontop of the entertainment center to get those treats- even though he's not even close shhh don't tell him. Well then I just feel obligated to give him some lol PHX is very very cuddly as well.. I just love cats that have that sort of personality!

I love when they nibble your chin and nose...except when you're sleeping of course.

Two cute things Merlynn does:

Each day when I get home she'll be sitting either at the end table right next to the door or the dining room table, which is on the other side of the door. I have to put my things down and give her a kiss right away or she'll follow me until I do.

Also, when I brush her, she'll close her eyes and lean up and nudge my face and nibble my chin. What a cutie!

Piccolino:

He is a major "biscuit-maker." Even when you're not touching him, he's making biscuits. So he jumps on the bed or the couch, or wherever I'm sitting, start purring and making biscuits so that I pet him. Then he rubs his face against everything in site and stretches out so I can pet him more.

They're such cutie patooties.

More cute things...but too many to mention!! hahahaha.

Not sure whether there is a name for that but there is this gap between my kitchen cabinet and the floor that one of my cat use to play hide and seek with me when he was little. The gap was big enough that his entire body can fit but now being 13 pounds, the gap only covers half of his body. However, he still tries to hide in that area and I would see him trying to nudge himself further in when I say "I see you". He even tries to nudge himself even more by hiding his face thinking that will do the trick in hiding from me.

The other night Pekoe was snuggling on my chest while I was laying down and he pressed his little nose right up against mine for a good long while. Then, when he got uncomfortable, he moved so his cheek was resting against my nose, and his nose pressed into my cheek. I thought I was in heaven.

Nigel loves to snuggle, and will press his entire body up against me in pure bliss as soon as I start. He always has this furtive expression on his face, as though he's not QUITE sure that it's okay, but he's loving it so much he doesn't want to stop. He always wants a good scratch when I'm on the toilet- I guess he thinks I'm not busy so I might as well pay attention to him.

Both boys will purr in anticipation of something pleasant. I'll know if they're coming expecting a cuddle if I hear them purring on the way.
