Why do I never have my camera ready when I need it?

Why, oh why, oh why? Last night Gabby was sleeping on the couch (big ol' lump of fur that he is) and my 2 year old Kevin crawled up beside him, gave him a kiss and a snuggle and they sat there snuggling for a good 5 minutes. Camera no where to be seen and a 1 year old clinging to me so I couldn't run for it. It was sooooo sweet!

I had my first digital camera in 1995. Nobody had no idea of what it was. I have steadily updating over the years and I keep saying this is going to be the last one. Well, I now have no less than seven cameras. And guess what? I have seven rooms in my house! No matter where I am in the house a camera is near by. Of course the old ones are of very low resolution, but even back then (640X480) they were plenty good enough for the internet. I realize everybody does not have seven cameras sitting around. And I still miss good shots because by the time I can grab the camera sitting right by me, that great picture is gone.
