Southern here!
Colin took it (keep in mind he's from Alabama) and it said he had a Philadelphian accent

Judging by how you talk you are probably from north Jersey, New York City, Connecticut or Rhode Island. Chances are, if you are from New York City (and not those other places) people would probably be able to tell if they actually heard you speak.

With my mixture of Irish, English and Canadian, it came up with that!

Mine says Northeast, which would be correct. I grew up in Massachusetts near the Rhode Island boarder (but not southeastern MA) and my father is from the Bronx so I picked up some New York from him.

That was fun. I have a midland accent, or no accent.

I grew up in Texas speaking English with a German accent, and lived in Boston and San Francisco. In Canada, most people think I'm from "somewhere in Europe."

I'm an Aussie with a Northeast American accent apparently...

I got: "North Central" is what professional linguists call the Minnesota accent. If you saw "Fargo" you probably didn't think the characters sounded very out of the ordinary. Outsiders probably mistake you for a Canadian a lot.

I've never seen Fargo.. and obviously people think I'm Canadian, 'cause I am.

I'm Inland north. I grew up in northern Wisconsin, where we call soda, pop.
I think there is a big difference between the 'Chicago' accent and the 'Minnesota' accent. I'm often asked if I'm from Minnesota, everyone
forgets about Wisconsin.
I've lost some of the accent, but it sneaks in now and then. It's so funny when I talk to my family back there!

Wha, I got that Inland North thing, but I was born and raised in Phoenix, my mom and all her sisters are from Hong Kong (they speak broken English) and my grandparents (who I grew up with) don't speak any English :O Now I am really interested in hearing what people from around there sound like so I can compare

Also, I call it soda :x sometimes soda pop.

I got the Midland accent

"You have a Midland accent" is just another way of saying "you don't have an accent." You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio"

They got it right though I am from PA
But also I do have a "pittsburgh" accent
but I guess thats not on there

I got Northeast which is I guess as fitting as anything could be for someone with a mostly "no accent" British accent i.e the UK version of US Midlands with a layer of Icelandic and some Scottish twangs mixed in.

I actually have lots of fun making people who don't know me guess where I'm from. Non UK people tend to guess the UK (Including americans and australians) but people from the UK have guessed pretty much everything from Portugal to Russia. It's lots of fun.

that was different than the last one i took. here's what i got:
Your Result: The West

Your accent is the lowest common denominator of American speech. Unless you're a SoCal surfer, no one thinks you have an accent. And really, you may not even be from the West at all, you could easily be from Florida or one of those big Southern cities like Dallas or Atlanta.
